Justin has worked as a graphic and interactive designer since 2003. After graduating from Eastern Washington University with a B.A. in Graphic Communications and a B.A. in Multimedia Programming and Development, Justin began his career at U.S. Department of Energy subcontractor, Battelle, at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in the Tri-Cities, Washington. There he produced and developed a multitude of design solutions from printed posters, tradeshow booths, and brochures to interactive training applications and website designs for the Department of Energy and Department of Homeland Security.
After working for a few years in the Tri-Cities, Justin moved to Boise, where he was hired on at Drake Cooper as an interactive designer. Justin helped lead digital design at Drake Cooper for almost six years, working on projects such as visitidaho.org, bogusbasin.org, the Idaho Department of Commerce, the Idaho Department of Labor and more.
In 2012, Justin, along with two business partners, started an award winning digital agency, which was purchased in 2017.
In his desire to continue design and development, Justin circled back to Drake Cooper in 2018, where he enjoys working on frontend digital design and building digital experiences, as well as WordPress, Squarespace, and Shopify development.
In time away from the office, Justin enjoys biking and hiking in the local foothills and Greenbelt, trying out new breweries and coffeehouses, being a crockpot foodie, stumbling his way through French class, and drawing cute kawaii characters on his iPad.
