Alyssa Hiller

Always drawn to artistic outlets growing up, Alyssa felt pulled towards the creative industry from a young age. While taking her first graphic design class, she knew she’d found a career path that perfectly blended two of her favorite things: art and technology.

As a designer at Drake Cooper, Alyssa brings a wealth of experience crafting exceptional work for clients in both the corporate and non-profit sectors. From typography lockups to illustrated patterns, she combines her love for design and creative problem-solving in each project she undertakes.

When she isn’t designing, you can find her spending time with her husband, Johnny, and their adorable Tortie cat, Bennie. (Yes, she can vouch that the tortitude is real!) Since making Boise home, they can be found paddle boarding at Lucky Peak, renovating their 1970s home, or binge-watching their favorite shows. (Some current favorites are The Office, Parks and Rec, and Frasier!)

Q&A

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

A warm summer day, floating the river or going out to Lucky Peak to paddleboard. Then meeting up with friends, getting dinner together and hanging out. Followed by a quiet night in with tea and a good book or movie.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

Totally! Absolutely! That’s cool! (not all at the same time haha)

If you were to die and come back as a person or thing, what would it be?

Definitely someone’s pet cat. Long naps in the sun and no responsibilities sounds pretty great!

What is your most treasured possession?

I have boxes of family photos and some furniture passed down from my grandparents that I just love dearly.

Who is your favorite artist or band?

Young the Giant and Benee. I can’t pick between them!
