Kara Boonstra

As an Account Supervisor, Kara serves as a client contact for the Chevron Brand and Chevron Texaco Rewards Program. She enjoys maintaining strong working relationships with all client partners, integrated agency team partners, and fellow team members from the supporting segment groups.

Kara’s love for marketing and, specifically, account management began with a college internship in Evansville, IN, with the minor league hockey team, The Evansville Icemen. Since then, Kara has continued to work and grow in the world of account and partnership management with a focus on the sports industry, both from a team and agency standpoint (hitting almost all of the major leagues along the way – missing MLB!) Kara enjoys the agency setting due to its heightened level of collaboration across different agency segments.

Outside of work, Kara can be found hanging out at home with her husband and two dogs, likely asking if they can stop watching sports and turn on Bravo or some other reality TV show! She also enjoys spending time at the lake, attending concerts, and anything that involves family and friends!

What is your greatest fear?

Sharks! The ride at Universal Studios was not the right move for young me.

What do you most value in your friends?

A good sense of humor and those friends who are constants no matter when you saw or talked to them last!

What’s your go-to office beverage?

3 drinks at once always – water, Cherry Coke or Cherry Dr. Pepper and iced coffee.

What activities keep you busy outside of the office?

I like to read, watch reality TV, and hang with my fiance and the dogs! In the summer, we like to head to the lake for the weekend. Hanging with friends on the weekends doing bonfires or potlucks, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants in the city. All the “basic” but great things!
