Dawson Taylor creates an amazing cup of coffee. From sourcing the best and freshest beans to the roasting process, they are passionate about everything coffee. The challenge is that not enough Boiseans know about it—63% to be exact.

With two locations, a local roastery located by the Boise State University campus and a downtown store on 8th street, Dawson Taylor was practically hidden in plain sight. Sure, they had their core group of coffee enthusiasts, but it was high time more people knew about Dawson Taylor’s killer blend of a passion for rich coffee, an excellent roasting process, and a vibe steeped in a deep love of its local Boise roots.

The Opportunity

Partnering with Dawson Taylor we set out to do a brand identity update that revealed this passion for creating a distinctive variety of every coffee lovers’ “perfect cup.”

Our Solution

We built a messaging platform based on the truths inherent in Dawson Taylor already. They have a devotion for both coffee and community. They are friendly and authentic, ready to share deep coffee know-how, so everyone can recognize the difference between good and great. They also have a fresh outlook, always looking for the next best bean. All while staying true to their Boise origins.

As part of the rebrand, we launched a new online store for Dawson Taylor. The website is powered by Shopify, with a fully-responsive custom theme. Along with telling Dawson Taylor’s story of fine craft coffee, it’s now easier for customers around the globe to access their favorite blends.
