Reduce. Reuse. Rebrand.

Every year Drake Cooper selects a Dream Big client. It’s our way of giving back to the community where we are so lucky to live and work. The concept is pretty simple, area non-profits lacking marketing budgets submit their dreams to us. The organization that is chosen, receives a wide range of our in kind services that fit their marketing needs and help them achieve their dream. Our 2012 recipient, Sustainable Futures, was founded to fulfill a social, environmental and economic need in the Boise community by helping the underserved build work maturity while repurposing empty wine, beer and spirit bottles into reusable glassware.

Over the course of the year, we collaborated with our client, revamping their brand, and developing strategy and creative. Our first task was to create a name more suitable for outward-facing consumer products. And after extensive name exploration, we arrived at the name: Ūsful Glassworks; a simple, yet momentous and multi-faceted name that connotes the product benefit, the vision of the company, and the people involved, whether contributors or recipients. With a shiny new name in tow, we embarked on developing a new logo, graphic style guide, website, packaging, point of sale, catalog and new product photography.

This holiday, we decided to make a donation to our new friends, Ūsful Glassworks on behalf of our clients and partners. Ūsful Glassworks products make great gifts and you can find them online at usfulglass.com and at retailers like Whole Foods in Boise.

From all of us at Drake Cooper we hope your holidays are filled with friends, family and fun times. So much fun that you’ll need some glasses for all that cheer.

Happy holidays,

Jamie Cooper
