People are sharing good stuff all the time. Things that make us smarter, think more creatively and encourage us to push ourselves just a little bit harder. When we find these things, we put them in The Blend and share them with you.

Here’s some good stuff from good thinkers to help us through the rest of the week…

To begin, here’s a town that is running its government on social media.

And here’s Pew Research’s 2015 Guide to Teens, Social Media and Technology.

Science is now proving that shopping has become a leisure activity, much like watching TV.

And yes, we should all love smaller budgets.

Now, think of your favorite campaign that seemed to speak directly to you… That represents what programmatic media can be.

After all, you are the product. You, feeling something. That’s what sells.  Nike’s latest campaign seems to capture this:

Interestingly, this venture capital firm found that: “billion dollar consumer companies generally reinvent existing behavior with superior consumer experience, rather than bringing something radical and novel to the market.”

Beyond that, here’s what Winston Churchill would look like today. (Clickhole always makes me smile.)

You can go inside the famous Abbey Road Studios, courtesy of Google.

And this guy thinks your website should be so simple that a drunk person could use it–he’s offering to test it.

When Coke personalized their bottles, sales jumped 19 percent.

And here’s an excellent post on the messy minds of creative people.

Lots to think about…

Here’s to a productive, creative and thought-filled rest of the week. If you find stuff that belongs in The Blend, please let @JohnDrake know.
